Materials: Collected from Tucson Landscapes.
The abstract linear composition was inspired by my walks along the railroad tracks of downtown Tucson. All the materials were rescued and reclaimed from the Tucson landscapes. Materials include discarded clothing, wire, twine, rusty bottle caps, metal springs, rubber tire tread, and washers that were flattened on the tracks

My love for torso sculptures goes back to my art history studies in college. The materials for Beach Bum were collected over several years from the beaches of Mexico and Southern California.
