Mark’s Story
I am a retired manufacturing engineer, and along the way I went back to school and earned a BS Graphic Design, Summa Cum Laude. I have been making art my whole life, but since retiring I am devoting much more time to my art. I have had a painting in a show at the Orlando Museum of Art; I designed and printed a deck of cards that is in the U.S. Playing Card Museum; and the Process Museum in Tucson has a collection of my sculptures and paintings. For the past 4 years I have participated in the Sculpture Tucson show. My current interest includes making sculptures from found objects, usually from junkyards and thrift stores. I like to make assemblies from metal and glass, and occasionally use lighting to enhance the works. Neon is a particular interest of mine, I incorporate it when ever I can...
