When I first started my photography journey, I was primarily photographing through telescopes. I would shoot galaxies, nebulas, planets, and starclusters! This is one of those images of M42 – The Orion Nebula. This nebula is the closest star forming region and is located 1300 light years away!

Located way out in the Tucson desert where there is almost no light pollution, this scene was captured showing the bright milkyway over our iconic saguaros. This is my favorite milkyway image and has become one of my most popular.
