Mono-Vision, 2022

Amy Lynn Bumpus
Ink and Paper Collage

The thought behind Mono-Vision is that we all do better when we see beyond the me. We live in a community that has become global. In fact, there are now 8 billion of us. That is a lot of neighbors. And, I say “neighbors” knowing that I cannot possibly be acquainted with 8 billion people, but that I am a part of a local community that I am infinitely better off knowing. One view is limiting. A more expansive view is so much more interesting.
